Full Job Description

BellaDonna Medical is looking for an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant to diagnose and treat women at all life stages by conducting comprehensive or episodic health assessments.

This is a part-time position in a busy OB/GYN practice in Bergen Beach/Canarsie Area.

Responsibilities:

*Establishing medical diagnoses by ordering, evaluating diagnostic studies, performing, and monitoring therapeutic procedures. Assessing, managing and supporting patients in follow-up plans and referrals.

*Prescribing and regulating medications by referring to practice protocols.

*Health management during pregnancy-full scope of prenatal care including, preconception care, prenatal care and post pregnancy care.

*Maintaining and enhancing current level of knowledge by seeking relevant educational resources.

Skills:

*Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, creative problem solving and excellent critical thinking skills.

*Must work cohesively and collaboratively as a team player under the direction of the supervising Physician.

*Demonstrates proficiency in the use of EMR and telecommunication modalities’ to document, track and convey information.

*Experienced in OB/GYN background

*Multi lingual in English, Spanish/and or Russian is preferred.

*Experience with IUDs, Pessaries & Colposcopy is preferred.

Qualifications:

*Qualified candidates must have New York State Physician Assistant License/ and or current New York State Licensure as WHNP, be board certified and have BCLS and ACLS certifications. DEA certificate is required.
